Flashes of Persia
A visual poetry based on the fascination from Persian ornaments, architecture and landscape. "Flashes of Persia" partly consists of excerpts from "Theatre of Tears" (2007), a documentary made in cooperation with Beate Petersen, with support from Billedkunstnernes Vederlagsfond, Arts Council Norway and Freedom of Expression Foundation. "Flashes of Persia" has recently won a Norwegian "Rederiforbunds" prize under the 120-th "Hostutstillingen 2007" in Oslo.

Dimitri Lurie
Born 1970, Leningrad, USSR. Lurie has established an independent Dodo Film productions company in 1994.  Since then he has produced (written, directed, shot and edited) nineteen short, documentary & experimental films along with various art projects.  Lurie’s films have been screened internationally in numerous festivals and collected several awards. Nine of Lurie's films are preserved and distributed by the experimental film archive "Light Cone", Paris.
