I Love You Because
Anneke Von der Fehr’s video-works are often comments on more or less serious and daily life matters/ cases/ situations that most people recognize. With her work she wants to focus on other ways of understanding a situation.  This video shows a little family rowing on a lake. The focus is on the relationship and the balance of power between the parents. It’s an everyday-situation, where the music is put up against trivial quarreling between the parents and, as witness to this, a little girl sits there apathetic, looking at nothing as a manifestation on the situation. It’s a mini-tragic situation that turns over to black humor.

Anneke von der Fehr graduated from The National Academy of fine Art in Oslo 1999. She has been working with Art-projects in the categories of: installations/ live-art and videos. Her earlier works were made for specific events/ crossover projects based on cooperation with other artists and people with crosswise education and competence. She has been showing her work in exhibitions and festivals in Norway and abroad.
