This is a short 16mm film, made in an effort to understand my own living spaces. Along the way it picked up other concerns and became a dense film about the tensions between sound and image, the crisis of time and space, the anxiety of speed, the instabilities of vision, and the inherent violence of the place.

Farhad Kalantary

Farhad Kalantary was born in Iran. He studied at San Francisco State University (BA, 1992) and at the San Francisco Art Institute (MFA, 1996). He works with film, video and installation. His work has been screened both nationally and internationally.
