Uccello
Taking it’s cue from Italo Calvino’s observation “We see no birds in the paintings of Paolo Uccello”, Uccello presents a concise musing on the painter who gained his name because of his fondness for painting birds.
Madeline Djerejian
Madeline Djerejian has exhibited widely in the US and Europe, including solo exhibitions at Galerie Otto Schweins, Cologne, and Galerie Klaus Peter Goebel, Stuttgart. In 2007 her video "The Last of Beirut" was screened in news from abroad, Murray Guy, New York and Viewing the Political, Elastic Residence, London. Her photographic project “Blonde in Hong Kong”, first exhibited in 2005 at Moti Hasson Gallery, New York, is currently featured in John Russell’s publication Frozen Tears III (London, 2007) and /seconds issue 06:things that move. Madeline Djerejian lives and works in Derbyshire, UK, and New York City, where she is a member of the Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts studio program.
